The website (the “Website”), which is owned and operated by GenieAgent Pte. Ltd. (the “Company”, “GenieAgent”, “we”, “us” or “our”), provides a platform for sports event management and photo sharing for sport activities thoughout the world.

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out how GenieAgent gathers, uses, manages and protects personal data and non-personal data (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Personal Information”) provided by our visitors and users (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Users”, “you”, “your”) of the Website and its online products and services (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Services”), including but not limited to:

  1. Users who sign up an account at our Website;
  2. Users who register for an activity listed on the Website or purchase a photograph posted on the Website (the “Participant”); and
  3. Users who are organisers for the activity listed on the Website (the “Organiser”).

This Policy is effective from Jan 29, 2015.


By accessing any part of the Website or using any of its Services, the Users agree that the Users’ Personal Information will be handled as set forth in this Policy.


The Personal Information collected and stored by GenieAgent can be broadly classified into two categories, namely personal data and non-personal data.

Personal data or personally identifiable data is collected when the User voluntarily provide information to the various Services on the Website. Personal data consists of but are not limited to the following:

  1. first and last name;
  2. email address and password;
  3. citizenship;
  4. national identification number;
  5. gender;
  6. home address;
  7. contact number;
  8. payment mode (but not other payment information); and
  9. personal data of individuals from your team whom you are registering the activity for.

Non-personal data or personally non-identfiable data is collected passively using various technologies and cannot be used to specifically identify the Users. Non-personal data may also be collected from third parties and combined with information that we collect. Non-personal data consists of but are not limited to the following:

  1. browser type;
  2. operating system;
  3. Internet Protocol (IP) address;
  4. approximate geographic location;
  5. pages of our site that you visit;
  6. the time spent on those pages;
  7. time and date of your visit; and
  8. usage of the Services.

Cookies are files with small amount of data used to collect information. They are sent and are stored on your computer like many websites. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use certain pages of our Website.


We use the Personal Information we collect in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy and to provide Users with a smooth, efficient and customised experience.

We may use the Personal Information collected for the following purposes:

For some Services on our Website, we might be collecting information on behalf of the Organisers. This Policy does not cover the Organisers’ use of your Personal Information outside of our Services. You should contact the Organisers directly to determine if your information is subject to such limitations on uses and to ascertain how the Organisers will make use of your information.


GenieAgent will never sell Personal Information and we will only disclose it to third parties as set forth in this Policy. However, there are circumstances in which we may disclose, transfer or share the Users’ Personal Information with third parties without further notice to you as follows:

We may use the Personal Information collected for the following purposes:

  1. Affliates and Subsidiaries. We may share the Personal Information we collect from you with our affiliates and/or subsidiaries. Their use and disclosure of the Personal Information will be subject to this Policy.
  2. Organisers. If you use our Services to purchase tickets to, register for activities or purchase photographs listed on the Website, you consent to GenieAgent providing your Personal Information to the Organisers in order to fulfil your request. The Organisers operate independently from GenieAgent and are not bound to treat your Personal Information in accordance with this Policy but is subject to its own privacy policy. You agree that GenieAgent is not responsible for the actions of the Organisers with respect to your Personal Information. Please refer to the Organisers’ privacy policy if you have any questions about its use of your information.
  3. Third Party Service Providers. We may disclose the Personal Information we collect to third party service providers whom we engage to perform certain business-related functions on our behalf. Examples of such functions are processing payments, emailing functions, performing web analytics and maintaining databases.
  4. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganisation, dissolution or similar event, Personal Information that we have collected from you may be transferred as part of our business assets. You acknowledge and agree that any successor to or acquirer of GenieAgent (or its assets) will continue to have the right to use your Personal Information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
  5. Legal Requirements. We may disclose the Personal Information we collect from you in order to comply with the law, such as in response to a subpoena or request from law enforcement, court or government agency. To protect GenieAgent and others, we may also disclose such data if we believe it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to protect or defend our rights, interests or property or that of third parties, to investigate, prevent or take action regarding possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services, to act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public, or to protect against legal liability.
  6. Third Party Applications. Third party applications, such as Facebook and Twitter buttons, may be available on our Sites. The owners or providers of those third party applications may collect personally identifiable information from the Users. You understand and agree that third party applications’ use of information they collect from you is governed by their privacy policies and GenieAgent is not responsible for the collection and use of your information by third parties applications.
  7. Third Party Links. The Website may contain links to other third party websites. Any access to and use of such linked websites is governed by the privacy policies of those third party websites and not by this Policy. We cannot be held responsible for the thrid party websites’ information practices and content.


GenieAgent uses third party data centers owned and maintained by our affliates or service providers to store Personal Information. We implemented reasonable precautions, including password protection, encryption, and secure socket layering (SSL) to protect our the Personal Information we collect via the Services from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, inadvertent disclosure, alteration, and destruction. While we take reasonable data protection precautions, no security measures are completely secure and you should always take care in handling and disclosing your personal identifiable data. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or compromised passwords, or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.


GenieAgent recognises the need to maintain accuracy and completeness of the Personal Information collected. Users can access and update their Personal Information by visiting the Account Settings page in our Website.Users may also email us directly at [email protected] with respect to Personal Information that is not accessible through the Account Settings page or deletion of account and/or data if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We will respond within a reasonable period of time upon verification of your identity, however, we may reject requests that we find to be unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical efforts, impractical, abusive, or for which access is not required by local law. Note that you may not have access to or the ability to update non-personal data.

Please be aware that copies of information that you have updated or deleted may continue to reside in our systems for a period of time. Also, you may not be able to remove your personal information from archived web pages that we no longer maintain.

Please note that the Website or the Services may no longer be accessible if you delete your Personal Information. If GenieAgent has shared the Personal Information with a third party, as described above, or collected on behalf of an Organiser, you will need to contact the them directly to access, change or delete Personal Information held by them.


This Website is operated and hosted in Singapore. If you are located outside Singapore, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Singapore where our servers are located and our central database is operated. By using the Website and its Services, you consent to the transfer of your information to Singapore and its collection, storage, sharing and use as set forth in this Policy. You further agree that all transactions relating to the Website and its Services shall be deemed to have occurred in Singapore. If, however, you do not consent, then we may not be able to provide you with our Services.


This Policy shall be governed in all respects by the laws of Singapore.
